Blue Boy, Blue Heeler For Adoption At Save A Mutt Kennel

Blue Boy came from the same home as our other heeler Daisy came from. There were several dogs from that home we helped as well. Their owner died and left them with no one to take care of them. Luckily we actually had a paper trail on these dogs via their vet. Normally we are in the dark.
Blue Boy is a 3 year old heeler. I am not totally sure he is purebred but he seems to be. He is around 55 pounds. He seemed to be a little protective of his territory at first. When we approached him he was in a fenced yard he barked at us, but within 1 minute he was licking my hands and wagging his tail. He allowed us to come inside the fenced yard without issues.
Blue Boy does well with other dogs that are submissive. So he would be best matched with a female large breed dog or as an only child. If adopted with his mate Daisy, I would be happy to give a discount. You can see Daisy on the website. She is a purebred heeler.
Blue Boy is neutered, current on shots. He just had a negative heartworm test and he is microchipped. He will go to his new home with a certificate of health(if adopted out of state) and 1 free month of health insurance.
We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our main web site at www.samskennel.com
